Our team has extensive experience in performing specialized tests, including Visual Reinforcement Audiometry, Central Auditory Processing Disorders Assessments and Auditory Brainstem Response assessments.

Hearing Protection

Noise-induced hearing loss is irreversible, but by practicing safe listening this can be prevented. We urge people to be aware of the risk of excessive noise exposure and to practice prevention.

Newborn hearing screening

The importance of early identification of hearing impairment can’t be more stressed. Little ones should have all the opportunity to flourish in communication and learning. Newborn hearing screening (Oto-acoustic Emissions and Automated Auditory Brainstem Response testing) is an easy, non-intrusive way of ruling out significant hearing impairment. We offer this at Vergelegen and Stellenbosch MediClinic, and in our rooms.

Hearing Aids & other listening devices

The core of our services is to provide individualized, person-centered care. Utilizing a variety of hearing aid companies and products, our recommendations are designed around your needs, preferences and abilities to ensure optimum hearing and communication outcomes. Our services include fittings, ….repairs, verify and evaluate fittings.

Industrial hearing screening & diagnostics

We partner with many companies to offer industrial hearing screening and diagnostic services in our rooms. This is based on legislation (Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Disease Act (Act 130 of 1993).

Balance Assessments

We offer extensive tests for symptoms of vertigo, dizziness and other balance related complaints. This includes VNG, VEMP’s and EcoGh.
